We are very proud of our new wedding album and eager to show it off. This wedding was photographed at White House Ranch, located South of Houston. Maggie + Brett had a wonderful wedding and their wedding photos are spectacular. We had a blast creating this wedding album for our precious clients. We hop you’ll enjoy it. You can view the album by clicking on the cover page below or by clicking here

Megan and Michael tied the knot in wedding bless on a beautiful Spring Saturday.  Much of our work is not posed as we try to capture your wedding day in the purest possible way.  When you look at your wedding photographs, your going to see you and your personalty instead of a forced posed photograph. We want you to say “Wow! Thats me” in all of your awesome wedding photographs. Samantha Darr with Soiree Bliss  coordinated this wedding to the minute. My associate photographer Gary Guy Photographer was on hand to help deliver the one-two knock out punch with these amazing wedding photographs here below. The first photo below was taken before the wedding when Megan and Michael had a moment together and we were there to document it for them. Notice the tear on Megan’s face.  Thats real, organic, beautiful emotion. How could you possibly pose that?

Music of the Night

May 9th, 2012

Night photography is incredibly romantic, particularly in a beautiful European Country. Our new digital camera systems are highly light sensitive and enable us to capture imagery like this one below. Lit entirely by a window light, images like this one are now possible with the latest digital SLR cameras. If you can imagine it, it may be entirely possible to pull off what was impossible a few short years ago. We live in a brave new world of where the impossible is now possible!

Venice Italy Part II

May 3rd, 2012

It was raining the last night in Venice and was cold.  Some of the most Romantic photographs are taken in the rain, even more so in a foreign Country like Venice with its cobblestone roads and extremely old brick buildings. Our couple, Marissa & Bryan, were amazingly flexible and gracious with us as we roamed the streets of Venice for two days shooting. The weather in Venice was ideal for shooting. Clouds helped diffuse the light and made for softer photos and the rain made the streets look like a mirror.  It is very much like Seattle is around the same time of  year.  Both photos, second from the top and bottom of this post, were taken by my associate photographer, Gary Guy. This photo was taken in St Mark’s Square the last night of our Venice shoot,  around midnight.  Venice street photography is difficult because the best times for shooting are from dusk to about 3 hours after dawn before all the tourists arrive. While the streets of Venice are empty, the whole city becomes a giant canvas for artists to play with. No other city in the world is like Venice. I guess thats why so many artists call it home.

This wonderful Madri Gras style wedding and reception ran in to the wee hours of the morning at Bentwater a few nights ago. Our bride and groom, Gabriela & Chris, and their whole families parties and danced and celebrated their beautiful wedding like it was 1999. There were so many great photos from this Bentwater wedding we will be providing you with separate blog posts from their bridal and engagement portrait photo shoots. Their wedding photos and portraitures came out beautifully. So thankful that Gabriella and Chris selected us to be a part of their wedding. We truly beleive  they would not have received the same quality of work anywhere else! Gary Guy Photographer was also in the house capturing amazing moments.
